Introduction
The chemical composition of Apatite is Ca₅(PO₄)₃(F,Cl,OH), with calcium phosphate as the main component. Its English name comes from the Greek word for “deceive,” as it was often confused with other blue minerals (such as tourmaline or kyanite). It is also known as "blue apatite" or "blue cyan apatite."

Historically, blue apatite has not been considered a precious gemstone and was not commonly used in jewelry. However, in recent years, it has gained importance in modern energy therapies for its spiritual and healing properties. In 19th-century mineralogical literature, it was described as a symbol of inspiration and insight, and some occult scholars regarded it as the "stone of spiritual awakening."
