Introduction
The chemical composition of Pietersite is silicon dioxide (SiO₂). The fibrous minerals encapsulated within are mostly blue amphibole group minerals (such as crocidolite) and tiger's eye and hawk's eye fibers that have undergone metasomatism, also known as "Storm Stone."
First discovered and named in 1962 by Namibian gemologist Sid Pieters. Although ancient texts do not record it, its formation mechanism is the same as that of tiger's eye and hawk's eye, allowing it to naturally inherit the cultural extensions of "insight, protection, and strength" in terms of symbolism.
