Introduction
The chemical composition of lepidolite mainly contains potassium, lithium, aluminum, silicon, and fluorine or hydroxyl groups (K(Li,Al)₃(Al,Si)₄O₁₀(F,OH)₂). It is often associated with granite and lithium-bearing veins, and is also known as "lithium mica."

During the 19th-century Industrial Revolution, it was used for researching and refining lithium salts and manufacturing industrial materials like glass and ceramics due to its rich lithium content. Early European academic journals also documented its optical and crystalline properties, making it an important milestone in mineralogy and the history of chemistry. In the early 20th century, lepidolite was believed to symbolize peace and transformation, helping people release anxiety and emotional burdens.
