Introduction
The chemical composition of菊花石 (Chrysanthemum stone) is CaCO₃. The patterns are mostly formed by minerals such as calcite, dolomite, or aragonite crystallizing within sedimentary rocks. It is also known as "coral jade."

In ancient Chinese stone appreciation culture, chrysanthemum stones were regarded as "symbols of heavenly and earthly creation." They were commonly found on scholars' desks and were believed to symbolize purity, resilience, and the beauty of order.
