Introduction
The main chemical composition of amazonite is potassium aluminum silicate, with the chemical formula KAlSi₃O₈. Its color ranges from fresh lake blue and blue-green to emerald green, with some featuring natural white stripes and cloudy textures. Its charming blue-green color is related to factors such as trace amounts of lead, water content, and structural defects within the crystals. It is also known as amazonite.

In ancient Egyptian culture, green was closely associated with life, prosperity, and rebirth, carrying vivid imagery of life, and was therefore used to make beads, amulets, and ornaments; jewelry buried with the famous Pharaoh Tutankhamun also included pieces made of amazonite.
