Introduction
The chemical composition of red jasper is silicon dioxide (SiO₂), and its color ranges from brick red to deep red. It primarily gets its color from iron oxide content during the mineral formation process, giving it a warm and rich red hue. It is also known as "red agate."

In ancient Egyptian times, it was made into amulets, seals, and burial ornaments, symbolizing vitality and protective power. In ancient Greek and Roman cultures, it was regarded as a symbol of courage and strength, and many warriors wore it on their person, hoping for a steadfast will and protection on the battlefield.
