Introduction
The main component of Angolan white crystal is silicon dioxide, with the chemical formula SiO₂, belonging to the quartz family. The crystals are mostly colorless and transparent to milky white, with a bright vitreous luster. Some crystals reveal natural ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, and special symbiotic structures, displaying a pure and layered natural aesthetic under different lighting.

The ancient Greeks once believed it was ice that would never melt, and its English name, "crystal," also originates from the Greek word krystallos, meaning "ice." During the ancient Roman period, natural crystal was also crafted into jewelry, carvings, and various utensils, prized for its clear and pure appearance.
