Introduction

The main chemical components of Egyptian fulgurites are calcium carbonate (CaCO₃), silicon dioxide (SiO₂), and some iron oxides, exhibiting unique brown-tan or ochre-red streaks. They are also known as "stones of prophecy" and "desert prophet stones."

During ancient Egyptian times, it was considered a "sacred stone," often used in temple divination and prophecy. Priests believed it could help connect with the sun god Ra and cosmic consciousness, obtaining revelation and inspiration.
