Introduction
Kunzite has the chemical composition LiAlSi₂O₆ and belongs to the feldspar group. Its colors range from pale pinkish-purple to deep purple. The crystals are transparent and have a vitreous luster. It is also known as "pink spodumene" or "pink lithium feldspar."

Named in the early 20th century by American gemologist George Kunz, historical documents mention its use primarily as a gemstone collection and decorative item, with no industrial applications. Its value is mainly aesthetic and collectible.
