Introduction
Golden Sand Obsidian's chemical composition is silicon dioxide (SiO₂), a natural glass formed by the rapid cooling of volcanic lava. Its golden luster is caused by the reflection of light from internal micro-bubbles or mineral flakes, making it a top-grade obsidian, also known as "Golden Obsidian" or "Golden Ray Obsidian."

In the historical records of many ancient civilizations, it is considered a sacred stone of spirituality and protection. The Aztecs and Maya used it to craft ceremonial mirrors and amulets, symbolizing the "reflection of truth" and the "expulsion of evil spirits."
